Jagdpanzer E-25

The E-25 was a german concept tank of the E-Series in world war II.

[The following project is still work in progress!]

First step is to think about possible camo scemes and start planning out your design.

Next step is priming your build. I glued a stick with hot glue to the base of the tank to make

handling during painting process easier.

On this project I tried some different techniques using oil colors. I used blue tones as base color

to mimic cold steel.

First layer of rust is applied by again solely using oil colors.

1. A coat of glossy varnish is added

2. the whole model is sprayed with heavy chipping coat

3. the main body of the tank is sprayed with a thin coat of Tamyia white

The model after chipping of the "winter camo". After that the first steps of weathering can begin.

I used steaking grime, rusty grime and track wash by Ammo to make basic streaks. I also used oil

to make some bigger streaks and adding bigger rusty spots on the tank.

Next step is further weathering of the tracks.

By using partly pigments, trackwash and rougher dirt youll get a great frozen mud look.

A great detail, which really enhances your build is the use of scale leaves made from real leaves.
